Arts Brookfield is proud to present an Artist’s Talk with Michael Gadlin covering the subjects of his distinctive artistic process and his artwork exhibiting in non-traditional spaces. As a Denver artist, Michael is known for his unique process and technique with work that has exhibited around the world.

Michael’s newest body of work, ENTICE, was created with this space at 1801 California in mind. Using charcoal taken from forest fires and focusing on preserving elements of nature that are often overlooked, he reuses and repurposes the dead material into his paintings. This exhibit highlights the organic nature of Michael's work from the use of untraditional tools to apply his paint, to repurposing materials crucial to the process of delivering "everything beneath".
